My place to walk with wife or friends. Love the birds and wild life and lake.
They paved the path a few years back which makes it easier to walk especially spring with all the water! The dog park is easily accessible from the path and the road! The path isn't that long, as it is 2.5km all the way around.
By the lake park a great place to hangout with friends and family or just by yourself. A very clean park with plenty of space to having a personal get together with friends and family. There's a path that wraps around the man-made lake that you can enjoy. Halfway around the path there's a gazebo, if you want to look at the lake and enjoy the park's beauty. There's indoor washrooms, a place for a big indoor event and sometimes you can buy icecream at the main building. There's saskatoons free for the picking. What's a park without a playground that has trees in the right places and with a water sprinkler at a push of a button. There's plenty of benches throughout the beautiful park. A deck that you can go look at the water fowls, ducks, geese, swans and pelicans. Check it out you will enjoy by the lake park!
Really nice park to visit for the day. No overnight camping; sufficient picnic tables and garbage cans for day trips in Spring but likely not for heavy use in summer. Very scenic. Good parking, great playground for the kids, and well-kept grounds, good washrooms. Lovely paved short walk around the lake. We saw a peace officer walking the loop to make sure everything was secure. This is a real gem.
A nice place to visit and go for a walk or ride a bike. Dog walking is good too.
